He was born about 1852 in Indiana. I have found his name and the names of his siblings listed in Howard County, but do not know how to proceed. His father is supposed to be David Barlet and his mother's name is listed as S. J. Barlet. I do have further information concerning him after he moved to Missouri. He married Mary Jane Rosson February 18, 1869 Gill Community, Dent County, Missouri. They had 16 children. His daughter Arabelle Barlet married John Thomas Morgan on June 30, 1896 at the home of her father David Barlet. Arabelle and John T. Morgan were my grandparents.
