They married in Orange County, North Carolina. His father was Aaron Burnett and mother, Abigail Williams, also of Orange County, North Carolina. If they were of Indian descent it would possibly be from the Saponi Nation, since the Potawatomi were mainly Great Lakes and Indiana region. My great grandfather, William Burnett, was Also's son. I am interested to know when and where he married Nancy Griffin. How are you related to him? Through Levi and Charlotte? Lois
