The Howard County Memory Project was created in 2002. The Greentown Public Library, the Howard County Historical Society, and the Kokomo-Howard County Public Library have a shared interest in preserving local historical materials and want to make those materials available to as many people as possible. Together, the three organizations are known as the Howard County Digitization Consortium; in this first year, the Consortium will begin by digitizing Howard County High School Yearbooks, 1901-1950. We are interested in borrowing books (or having them donated) from the following towns or townships in Howard County: Union, Jackson, Howard, Clay, Ervin, New London, West Middleton, or Russiaville.
