I just sent for and received a copy of her social security form, and she was born Dec 3, 1889 to Edward Jerome Howard and Lillie May Mason in Gosport, Indiana. At some point she moved to Missouri, where she married my Grandfather, Perry Frank Burgess, on Feb 15, 1909. They were both living near Townlee, Dunklin county in the Missouri bootheel then. They had four children: Howard, Jack, Gerald, and Edith. Perry Burgess died in 1948, and Mildred subsequently married Tom Matheney. She died in Advance, MO in 1975. I don't know anything about her parents or siblings--I just found out her parents' names. I would appreciate any information you can give me. Many thanks. Gary Burgess
