Her mother was Maria Lydia Sherwood, daughter of Maria Stone & Samuel Sherwood. The Sherwoods were from Franklin county In Never have found Maria Stones family. Don't know why they moved to Kokomo. Please let me know if you find a connection. Maybe they moved here because of family. All I have on Maria Stone is born 1824 married 1842 Shelby county Indiana buried Franklin county.
