I have quite a bit of information on him but nothing on his parents, except a family legend that one parent was from Germany and the other from Ireland and that they had emigrated to America about 1825. Family lore also says that Isaac was orphaned at about 14 years old. His death certificate lists his mother's maiden name as Detric, but that may not be reliable. I have done quite a bit of searching in Pettis County Missouri where he married but haven't found any clue about his parents. If you would like to exchange information, let me know.
