Hello: Thank you for your post. I, also, had need of knowing what happened to Greene Township, Howard County, because the 1850 Census showed my grandfather as living there. His home was in Greene Township, GRANT co. in 1860. My question did he move into Grant County, or did they just change the county lines. Do you know more about it? Hope to hear from you. Linda P.S. My ggrandfather was Jonathan KILGORE. Perhaps our relatives knew each other. Point Isabel, Greene Township, Grant County is where his farm was located. ----- Original Message ----- From: <annebailey_2000@yahoo.com> To: <INHOWARD-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, July 07, 2002 3:01 AM Subject: [INHOWARD] Green Township Howard County Indiana > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Surnames: Bailey Boswell > Classification: Query > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/Fi.2ADE/1056 > > Message Board Post: > > For those who might need to know, there was a Green Township. I don't believe Howard County Indiana has ever has a 'Greene' township. Please recheck your source.
