We must be related! I'm also president of the family association that is organizing a nation-wide family reunion next year in Virginia. The Hattabaughs, descended from George Hattabaugh and his wife Maria Koiner will be meeting in the Waynesboro/Staunton area to do research in the area in which they lived between 1798 and 1809 before moving to Washington Co., IN when it was still a part of the old NW Territory. That will be July 7th and 8th. Then we'll head to Bristol, VA. for a weekend reunion event July 8-11th.
