Born Sept. 2, 1986 in Marion, she was the daughter of Scott T. and Jill (Owings) Sordelet. They survive in Kokomo. She was taken to Methodist Hospital after being involved in a car accident in Kokomo. She had attended Eastbook High School through the 9th grade and then attended Western High School for her sophomore year. She had played the clarinet in the band at Eastbrook High School and was involved with the Show Choir and Student Council at Western High School. She loved art and music and was an avid reader. She babysat for different families in her community and was recently employed at the Steak & Shake in Kokomo. She also enjoyed taking care of her 2 younger brothers. Survivors include her parents, Scott and Jill Sordelet, Kokomo; brothers Garrett Troutt and Hayden Sordelet, at home; paternal grandparents Robert and Florence Sordelet, Angola, and Richard and Kim Troutt, Converse, an aunt, Lori (Mrs. John) Frantz, Marion; uncles Randy (Penny) Owings, Marion, Barry (Rita) Sordelet, Ft. Wayne, and Mark (Cindy) Sordelet, Ft. Wayne. She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Donald and Coni Owings. Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion. Rev. William Fulda will officiate.
