Actually looking to see if there are any records still in existence and if anyone knows where they might be located, or if there is a funeral home in Kokomo today that is a successor to this firm. Have already contacted Stout in Russiaville and Ellers in Kokomo who have older records, but no luck. Researching an unmarked burial in Brook, IN and would like some confirmation...obit and Howard Co. death records both indicate the same place...hoping to find third and final documentation. Thanks!

It also gives the following history: It started in 1887 - president was Mrs. Flora Wolchner, secretary was Mrs. Agnes Hite. The charter members were: Clara Young, Oma Barnes, Lizzie Redmond, Alice Lowe, Lizzie Sellers, Elizabeth Raines, Ella Sumption, Libbie Moore, Carrie Lowe, Mary L. I do hope we are related. You have a lot of the information I have - except the Potawatomi. A few answers to your questions: Also's first wife was Nancy Burnett, his cousin. They married in Orange County, North Carolina. His father was Aaron Burnett and mother, Abigail Williams, also of Orange County, North Carolina. If they were of Indian descent it would possibly be from the Saponi Nation, since the Potawatomi were mainly Great Lakes and Indiana region. My great grandfather, William Burnett, was Also's son. I am interested to know when and where he married Nancy Griffin. How are you related to him? Through Levi and Charlotte? Lois
