    1. [INHOWARD] Gr-grandmother Youngman's death date/place
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: YOUNGMAN, JACKSON Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Fi.2ADE/1203 Message Board Post: I have been trying to find a death date/place for my great-grandmother, Sarah/Sallie (JACKSON) YOUNGMAN, who was born in England in 1845 to Samuel and Sarah (MITCHELL) JACKSON; came to US in 1858 with her father, Samuel and siblings. They were in Marshall Co, IN by 1866, where Sallie married 1869, John YOUNGMAN, as his 2nd wife. John and Sallie were in Kokomo, Howard Co, IN in 1872 where my grandfather, George Samuel YOUNGMAN was born. In 1880, John is in Davidson Co, TN and married to his 3rd wife, Julia MARTIN. What happened to Sallie/Sarah? I have not been able to find any record of death/divorce in Howard Co. They MAY have moved to Indianapolis after George's birth, but that has not been proven yet, nor have I turned up anything in death records there. John YOUNGMAN's brother, Harrison YOUNGMAN, had moved to Howard Co. from Shelby Co. after his marriage to Mahala FORSYTHE on 9 Aug 1860. Maybe John and Sallie were visiting them or living there when Grandpa George was born in 1872? Any help or suggestions deeply appreciated!

    3. I have the IN Vital Records CD's Anita It states: Surname: GORDON Given Name: GEORGE I Sex: M Color: W Age: 65 Month: MAY Day: 16 Year: 1905 County: CARROLL Locality: DELPHI Book: H-14 Page: --- Fiche: 3842 -------Original Message------- From: [email protected] Date: Monday, September 29, 2003 7:12:44 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [INHOWARD] Re: George Israel GORDON This is helpful. It at least tells me that it is possible that George married twice. But it is also still distinctly possible that they are 2 different George's. The only other clue that I have is a comment in one of my ancestor's writings that George was once on the city council in Delphi, which I believe is in Carroll Co, IN. He may be buried there (died @1905). I just haven't found any records to confirm or refute any of these clues. He may have died outside Carroll Co and been brought back there. Perhaps I can find out if there is any other useful information contained in the marriage certificates since you were good enough to send the sources. I do appreciate your help
