At the time I obtained them they were retreived from the deed books kept in the vault. I also obtained a lot of estate files that way, and they had not been filmed nor had the indexes. These files and books were in bad shape and kept in the vault. The person I had do it for me has since passed away, but if you could hire someone to go in there and look, they would probably find them.
