I think I've stumbled across an error in the WPA marriage index, but it can only be verified by finding the actual marriage record, or microfilm images of the old marriage book.? Does anyone on this list have access to them? The index shows a Henry Windell marriage to Susan Windell on 5 AUG 1860.? But I find no such Susan Windell in the 1850 or 1860 census, and suspect the indexer slipped up and used her married surname.? Here's the citation for what I found: "Ancestry.com.
