I am not looking for genealogical data per se regarding lineages, births, deaths, or marriages. Specifically, my ancestry includes the Baker (Becker) and Utz families of Shenandoah County, as well as the descendants of Johann (Hans) Georg Somers (Summers) in Shenandoah and Augusta Counties, and Heinrich Finis (Henry Venis) In Rockingham and Augusta Counties in Virginia. My book also will include stories about members of these families who migrated to Floyd and Harrison Counties in Indiana in the early 1800s.
