Will Book B, pages 287-288. Sarah Lingenfelter's Will. I, Sarah Lingenfelter of the County of Harrison and State of Indiana, and sick and weak in body, but of a sound mind, memory and understanding, do or claim this to be my last will and testament, to wit: after all my just debts are fully paid and satisfied, I will unto my sons, William and Legrand my wagon and gearing these to belonging and Beauro, Clock, Cupboard and Table and all my Cupboard ware and all the Kitching furniture and all my Stock, consisting of one mare and cows, hogs and sheep. And my Bed Stead and beding to my daughter, Isabell. I appoint my son, William to be the Executor of this my last will, and in testamony whereof, I have hereunto set my hand, Caused my seal to be affixed this 10th day of January, 1848. Sarah "X" Lingenfelter (seal) Witness: John Hogan, William Reader. Dated January 10, 1848. Probated February 3, 1848. NOTES: Sarah Lingenfelter was the widow of Daniel Lingenfelter. She was the daughter of Richmond Dedman and Catherine Gatewood of Fayette County, Kentucky. Sarah died on January 20, 1848 (aged about 54 years), and is buried in the Windell Cemetery in southern Harrison County, Indiana.
