They had 2 children, Millard b ca 1857 and Sophia b ca 1858. I found Phillip & Melinda in Scott Co., IA in 1870. Would you know anything more about what happened to these people after 1870? I do know that Philip died in 1887 in a Disabled Veterans home in Milwaukee and he had lived in Brownsville, MN prior to that. Would love to know what happened to Melinda & Sophia.
