    3. Hi - I'm used to Virginia documents - in the 1810s did Harrison county, in do marriage bonds?  Where can I find more information on a marriage?  I rented an LDS film and the quality isn't that good, and her last name could be Lahue or Lakus, I was thinking the consesnts or bondsman might give me a hint, if they did such things back then.   thanks for your help   Julie in Ca

    3. Julie, Contact me at patriciagrimm2001@yahoo.com.I may have those films on permanent loan at the LDS library here in town. I can check Saturday. On Ancestry I found several female Lahue's in Harrison co. The earliest was Nancy Lahue to William Crawford on 30 Oct.1817. There several others up to about 1847 on this record. I looked at all three sites on ancestry and she is the earliest one. i will see if I have that film here. We have a computer copier and I can read the film on that. Makes it greatly improved in quality.
