SC] as a result of a slave uprising in their area, in which several plantations were burned and some slave owners killed. The family is said to have moved to KY in 1803 and then on to Harrison Co. IN after a similar happening in 1807. If anyone has any good documentation of these events, it would help to clarify the family history.
