There is a cemetery called Sappenfield in Harrison County which is on the old property of Levi Sappenfield and does have a fence I have been and I do not see where anyone needs permission since it has its own road and gate was not locked. Levi is not buried on this land but at Fairdale area cemetery. I see now that Erica who submitted the pictures on findagrave has the cemeteries combined or mixed up. Sappenfield Cemetery (named that way) is next to power plant and does not have Levi Sappenfield buried there. He is in the cemetery in Fairdale which is official called Arnolds Cemetery since they are buried there but has Sappenfields so some have called it Sappenfield cemetery at Fairdale and I would assume others have just called it Fairdale Cemetery because it might be the only one. (not sure about this). If you are interested in Sappenfields I have many interest! ing things including a picture of Levi and two of his sisters. Which ones in that cemetery do I have wrong I will gladly switch them.
