L. Kiplinger. He was my great-grandfather on my dad's side. (Mary) Leona Kiplinger Doherty, was my grandmother. As you may know, E. L. was also a banker after he retired from the ministry in Holdrege, Phelps County NB. Elizabeth Ruth Kiplinger was the eldest of the 12 Adam Ruth siblings. My maternal grandmother, Ruth Emma Ringle Piper, was also from the Ruth clan. Her mother, Emma Ruth, was a younger sister of Elizabeth Ruth Kiplinger. So, my parents were second cousins.
