What I have now is: Robert Black born abt 1784 in Ohio. Died bef. 1840. Married Mary Shickel. Mary born abt 1787 in PA. Died 1860-1870. Children: Unknown Black born between 1816-1820 Unknown Black born between 1816-1820 Robert Black born 8 Feb 1820 in Ohio. Died 4 Feb 1912 Floyd County Indiana James Black born abt 1822 in Ohio. Unable to find him or wife Sarah Lawson Black after 1870 census. Their son James was born in Indiana in 1865. Possibly moved to Louisville between then & 1870. James and Sarah had 6 children: Mary F abt 1849-bef 1860 John 27 May 1850-14 Aug 1914 Martha abt 1952-? Rebecca E. abt 1856-? Nancy E. abt 1857-? James Edward, Sr 12 Mar 1865-23 Nov 1941. Married Anna Mildred Sowders. They had 10 children. 1 being Roy, who married Bernadine Atzinger (her second marriage). Roy & Bernadine have Loretta. Who was my husband's grandma (your aunt).
