I've "rescued" the original marriage certificate belonging to William M. BAGGERLY and his bride Lissie E. HISE who were married in Harrison County, Indiana on the 28th of February 1866. After only limited research I do find a William M. BAGGERLY married to Mary POTTS on 3 Oct 1847 in Dubois County, Indiana. Could this be the same William M. BAGGERLY, or maybe his father? If they are the same this would be a second marriage. Another William M. BAGGERLY (age 16) is found in the 1860 census for Franklin, IN the son of Thomas W. & Elizabeth A. BAGGERLY. The family includes three additional children, Salina C. (age 14), Frances A. (age 6), and Charlie (an infant). With more than one possible William M. BAGGERLY found in the area I'm hoping to locate someone from this family so that this precious document can be returned to its rightful place with family.
