The database was wrong, I believe, because it was misread in the original handwriting. The reason that I know this is because I was searching in the database for William's marriage and put in the name Blunk for his spouse (from old family records. Up came the name Lilly Blunk married to William Green on the database. It was about the right year (1842) for William Gwin to have married, so I wrote to Harrison County and told them I thought Gwin had been misread as Green. Sure enough, when the copies of the original pages came, it was Gwin, not Green. I thought you'd like to know this, as mistakes in the databases do happen occasionally.
