My "Elias" is listed on the various US Censuses as "Elijah" or E. L. Kiplinger and Kiblinger. I still am not sure about ancestors before E.L. I think I found his family in the 1850 Census. He was the son of John Kiblinger, born in Ohio. Two of Eli's siblings and the mother's name are a match, so at least I have gone back one more generation, I think.
