If you have any further info on Nicholas Miller and his wife I would love to share. I have just started going over the LDS records for Harrison Co and have found that when Thomas Highfill died in 1830 his wife Nancy Miller Highfill and her father Nicholas Miller were named as administrators of the estate. The children were listed, including Harriet A Highfill. The interesting part is that Henry Highfill was named guardian of the children. I think this proves that Thomas Highfill and not Henry Highfill was the father of Harriet A Highfill who married John Wesley Miller. Henry is probably most likely the brother of Thomas Highfill based on this evidence also. After the death of her father, Nancy Miller Highfill asked for guardianship of the children, and Henry Highfill agreed to it. When Nancy died, the guardianship of the children went to James Davis, husband of Nancy's sister in Harrison Co, IN. I found Jane Highfill, sister of Harriet, who married James Lewis Be! iren and died in AK. The only child I am missing is Margaret Highfill. I am continuing to go over the records, they are a gold mine of information. Jeanine
