Some of the names are John M. Lamon, William, Manuel, David, Mary and many more. Would like to hear from you.
I descend from Jacob Youtsler of Hardin Co., KY, who bought land in Harrison Co. beginning in 1807. I am also interested in his son in law James Riley who married Jacob Youtsler/Yotsler's daughter Catherine in Hardin Co., KY, prior to moving to Harrison Co., IN. The river town of North Hampton was surveyed and platted c. 1815 on the land owned by James Riley and Jacob Yotsler/Youtsler. Is anyone on the Harrison Co., IN, list researching these and their related families who lived in Harrison Co., IN, Meade Co, KY, and Hardin Co., KY? Helen Graves

It states that June 18th, 1799, Henry Gousenberry, native of Virginia, son of Nicholas Gousenberry and Susan Kirk married Elizabeth Norris, native of Kentucky, daughter of Maxwell Norris and Elizabeth Nation. I traced his wife Elizabeth and their family to Missouri after his death. I am most curious what happened to their son Valentine. In a previous posting is was stated that Valentine had 4 children. I have been unable to verify that he had a son named John, born about 1862, because Valentine seems to disappear from Missouri after 1860. What happened to him? What happened to John? I think he is my gr. gr. grandfather. Thanks for any info.

Kendalls and find that Margaret Westfall's father was probably George Kendall - not Joseph Harmon Kendall/Kindle. I was relying on a family group sheet from the Corydon library for my info; looks like someone made a mistake. Very easy to do, with such a nexus of Kendall-Harmon-Crecelius connections to untangle!

I have seen some Gedcoms that list Jacob Westfall, son of Cornelius and Elizabeth, as Stephen's father - but no one seems to know where this information came from. Any ideas?? Stephen married Margaret (Kendall or Kindle) Clingan, widow of John C. and daughter of Joseph Harmon Kendall/Kindle and Barbara Crecelius. Children of Stephen and Margaret Westfall were: John C., Catherine, Willliam, Matilda, Sophia, Lenora, Hiram L., Julia Ann, Nancy Jane, George Kindle, and James August. Any help with this Westfall "brick wall" would be much appreciated.
