Surnames: Everett, Slaymaker Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/Di.2ADE/2043 Message Board Post: I am looking for information on Margaret (Slaymaker) Everett who died in Elizabeth, Indiana on September 10, 1859. She is buried in Rosehill Cemetery. I also am trying to figure out if her husband Samuel Everett is buried with her and a death date for him. Margaret and Samuel are our 3rd great grandparents. Margaret's mother Agilis Slaymaker also may be buried there as she was to have died September 4, 1830 in Laconia, Indiana. I would like to have a picture of their graves or an obit. if there is one. Thank you so much!

I, too, am a descendant of Daniel and Barby, through their son Israel (Benjamin Israel), who is my G-G Grandfather. About all I have is that Barby was born in North Carolina circa 1770. I've also had some conflicting information about where Daniel, Sr was born - either Pennsylvania or North Carolina.

Surnames: HAINES/HANES, Dean Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/Di.2ADE/2038 Message Board Post: Am looking for any information on Rezin HAINES/HANES, son of Benjamin Haines. Benjamin came from NY (one source) about 1813. He was one of the founders of Greenville, IN. In court depositions found in the Harrison County, Indiana courthouse, it mentions Rezin Hains, his son, having taken "the old man's" (Benjamin's) property and selling it and keeping the money, not telling his father about it. In the court papers, it also mentions that he (Rezin) sold his (Rezin's) clock factory after his father (Benjamin) had set him up in business and that was his inheritance. Benjamin also had a daughter Rebecca that married Daniel Dean. I would appreciate any information on this family. Possibly related the the Samuel Haines mentioned in the other query. Would like to know the relationship. Although Benjamin was in Greenville, he does not appear on the census and according to papers in Harrison County Courthouse, he was deceased by 1837. would appreciate any and all information. Will share what I have.
