There is a marriage record for an Allen Bybee and Polly Riley married October 8, 1818 at Corydon, Indiana. I would like to hear from anyone who may have any information on this couple. Also looking for infromation for Albin Bybee from the 1840 census for Harrison County. Plus information for a Mary A. Bibee in the 1850 census for Harrison County, and a Mary Ann Bybee in the 1860 census for Harrions County. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Jan Flowers

They had numerous children. Sons were WILLIAM H and ALEXANDER, two first names which do not appear in the Van Arsdale family. I suspect that her father or brothers may have had those names. Nancy, along with her husband and most of her children, died during the cholera epidemic of 1832, most likely in Indiana. Three daughters survived: HARRIET Van Arsdale m Samuel Enfield, MARGARET Van Arsdale m Nathan Caldwell, and my gg grandmother NANCY Van Arsdale who married Eli Branson Frazier. The three girls lived with relatives in Montgomery & Boone Co IN, and according to sources were bound out for service when they came of age, until their marriages.
