>From Prominent and Representative Men of Indianapolis, 1908: "James K. PRICE was born in Maryland, near Chesapeake Bay, Jan. 30, 1802, son of William and Jemima (WILLIAMS) PRICE. James K. Price operated a farm in Kentucky, about forty miles from Cincinnati, Ohio, and was also a river man, making frequent trips in his boat to New Orleans. In 1854 he removed with his family to Marion county, and later to Hamilton county, Ind., where he died in October, 1875, his wife passing away in September, 1873. Their children were: Margaret, Jeremiah, Francis, Samuel, Zeralda, Eliza and Annie, all born and reared in Bracken county, Kentucky." Does anyone have access to death records or newspaper obits that would confirm James K. PRICE's death in Hamilton Co. in Oct. 1875? Is there a source of official death records around this time? I'd love to be in touch with others researching this line. Betty Moore in California
