MAKER DIED EARLY THIS MORNING Funeral at Home of Noah Earl at 2 O'clock Wednesday Afernoon Mrs. Sarah E. Maker, widow of the late Orrin Maker,died early Monday morning, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Noah Earl, on E. Cherry St., at the age of 78. The funeral will be held at the residence of the daughter at 2:00 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. The services will be in charge of Rev. Charles Moore, pastor of the Friends church, assisted by Rev. Gertrude Reiner. The interment will take place in Crownland cemetery. Mrs. Maker was born in Howard county and spent her girlhood days there. She came to Hamilton county soon after her marriage and lived in and near Noblesville most of the time since. For years she and her husband resided on what is now known as the Mrs.Theodore Decker farm, four miles west of Noblesville, near the Westfield Pike. Mrs. Maker was the mother of five children, three of whom died while they were young. Those living are Mrs.Earl, of this city and Mrs. H.E. Caudell, of Indianapolis. For a number of years the deceased has been living with Mrs.Earl. She has been in poor health for the past five years. She was a fine Christian woman and had a large circle of friends.
