He had been ill for a short time with bronchial pneumonia. Services will be held at the funeral home of Royster & Akin, on North Meridian Street, Indianapolis, at 1:300 o'clock Friday afternoon. The interment will take place in Crownland cemetery this city. The funeral cortege is expected to reach the local cemetery about 3 o'clock. He is survived by the widow, Lora Davis; one daughter, Mrs. Hazel Skillman and one granddaughter Deloris May Skillman of Indianapolis; four brothers, Allen Davis, Vern Davis, Len Davis of Indianapolis and Joe Davis, of this city, and one siser, Mrs. C.F. Timmns of Indianapolis. A half-brother, Will Priddy, died thirty-five years ago. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Davis and spent most of his life in Noblesville. His father was a pioneer drayman (sic) of this community. The family lived for many years on S. 11th Street.
