Hi Listers, maybe you can advise me how best to pick this very ripe plum. A handwritten notation in the family records reads: William Roe was killed on the line of fire in the Arden, France, October 16, 1918. His body was brought home September 23, 1921. Services held at the home of Mrs. Nathan Chaney, Cicero, Indiana. (relative) I'm sure such an event was worthy of note. (goodly note I hope) How best to or who do I contact to have a chance of recovering such a newspaper account of this event? Thanks for listening. Looking forward to your comments.
