I am researching Jacob & Lavinia (Clarkson) Faussett who married in 1831 and was in Hamilton Co by 1850. Do these names ring a bell? Lavina/Lavinia was a sister to my gr. gr grmor, Luamy (Clarkson) Jaques, who lived not far from them in the adjoining county of Boone. Hope the weather has improved in Oklahoma.>> Hi Lou in Indiana! Let's see. You never get to wear bulky sweaters, or muckalucks, or feel snow crunch under your cold feet, or slip and slide on ice. How boring! Ha! I'm getting cabin fever. We have ice on the ground that hasn't melted for three or four weeks. I haven't been outside the house for over a week, and then my feet barely touched ground. got in car in garage, Jon drove to bosses house for Christmas party. I walked from driveway into their entry on a well salted and cleared walk. That was it! Gee, will summer ever get here? We have not lost electricity, but know lot of people who have. Think of the poor homeless people here, how awful. If they were smart they'd have walked to California before hard weather hit. Look forward to hearing from you again soon. Carolyn..... "Remember, you've got a friend in Oklahoma!"
