Hello List, I am new today. In or around 1847 was Hamilton Cty. a part of Marion Cty. or the reverse? Our GGrandmother was born in ??Marion Cty. in 1855 - no records located by the Cty. We found out today that her father lived in Hamilton Cty. around 1847 until ??. Before we concede she was born at home, we would like to know if the Cty. lines were moved - thereby allowing for the possibility her birth records are in Hamilton Cty. Thank you for any assistance.
