Looking for any information on a Newton Coffman and his parents. I believe they were somewhere near the Clinton Co, Boone Co, and Hamilton Co lines. Their daughter, Bessie Coffman married Darius Stowers 7 Dec 1907 in Hamilton Co. Darius is buried in the Stowers Cemetery near Kirklin, but not sure where Bessie is, maybe Spencer Cemetery, Hamilton Co. The town of Opossum Trot has been mentioned to, has anyone heard of this place and where it was?
