Trying to fill the blanks of my Evans family who went from Scioto Co., Ohio to Lawrence Co., Ohio in the 1860's. Evan D. Evans married Eliza Phillips July 04, 1853 in Portsmouth, Ohio. They moved to Ironton, Ohio soon afterwards. They had the following children: Edward E. (1856-1930) never married Mary (1856-1880?) m. Mr. James lived in Muncie, Ind. Margaret (1865-1941) Florence Belle (1868) ?? married George Mayne and stayed in Ironton David H. Evans ( 1869-1940) m. Christina ? ---children: Phillip (stayed in Ironton), Ruth, Evan, William H.(married and moved to Ind.) ---grandchildren : Mrs. Geneva Bogdanoft of Cleveland and Keith and Donald Gene Evans (sons of William H.) of Nobelsville, Ind.
