    1. Clingler
    2. mjpat1
    3. John Clingler with his wife, Sarah, and children Orlow, Martha, and Rachel is listed on the 1850 Federal Census for Clay Township. Also listed in his household is one-year-old William Taylor. I am wondering who the baby Taylor is and why he is listed with the Clingler family. My ggrandfather, William Taylor, was born in Indiana in 1848 and I have no information on his family. In 1870's he was in Auglaize County, Ohio, but that is as early as I know of him. I am grabbing at any straws that are available. In 1840 there was a John Clingler listed on the Federal Census in Boone County. Then in 1860 two with the name of John Clingler were listed in Owen County. Can anyone help me with this Clingler/Taylor situation? Martha Patriarca in Georgia
