Actually, I am aware of Hannibal Hood tho I don't know his relationship to Serena's husband Christopher Hood. Christopher Hood married Serena Pettiford (Daughter of Jesse Hood, 28th Indiana Colored Regiment). Christopher was killed in Indianapolis in a railroad accident in 1892. Serena moved back with her mother in North Vernon for a time, however, she disappears after that point. I found a reference to her in Grant Indiana (Greene county).
