[Transcribed on January 24, 2008 by RLJ from microfilm of the original newspaper on file in the Bloomfield-Eastern Greene County Public Library.] Elizabeth (CORRELL) TRUMP, died at the home of her son in Smith Township, Monday noon, September 17, after suffering almost two years from a stroke of paralysis. The deceased was born in Germany July 11, 1819. Aged eighty seven years, two months and three days. She came to this country in June 1852, and settled in Ohio in the same year. She removed to Indiana in 1861. Was married to Charles TRUMP March 2, 1853 and to this union was born three children. Two of these children, Charles and Lewis and her husband have gone on before. Her husband died September 16, 1895. One son, Adam, and three stepsons still survive her. She is the last one of a family of five children-four boys and one girl. Two of her brothers died in Germany, one in Ohio and one in Indiana. About forty years ago she united with the United Brethren Church in Owen County, Indiana, in which church she held her membership until death. The funeral services were held Wednesday, conducted by Rev. George MILLER. The remains were laid to rest in the Lebanon Cemetery.
