During the 60th decade of the 20th century there was a massive collection of estate records housed in the Greene County Clerk's office. Does anyone know what the disposition of those records is today, the first decade of the 21st century? I am interested in being able to do some research of the records. My initial interest is Box 268, Phenis Palmer Estate, John W. Wolford, Administrator. I'm not asking anyone to do the research for me, I'm only interested, at this time, in knowing if they are available. The 1960's was the last time I had the time to do any research in Greene County. At that time I and my copier; a pad of paper, a pencil, and me; didn't make much headway into the wealth of historical/genealogical information that was stored there.
