[Transcribed on February 25, 2008 by RLJ from microfilm of the original newspaper on file in the Bloomfield-Eastern Greene County Public Library.] Mary Olive, daughter of Paris and Samantha EDWARDS, was born on a farm near Stanford, Indiana, March 18, 1884, and departed this life at her home six and one-half miles northwest of Worthington, August 2, 1922; aged thirty-eight years, four months and fourteen days. She was united in marriage to Chester D. DILLEY, June 28, 1905. To this union the following children were born, and who remain with the husband, to mourn her untimely departure; Pansy Fern, aged fifteen; Freeda May, aged thirteen; Mary Wilma, aged eleven; Geneva Lucile, aged eight; Don Edwards, aged five, and Alta Louise, aged two. There were also two other children, who died in infancy. She was known as one mainly devoted to her home and family and in deeds of kindness to neighbors and friends. Funeral services were conducted at her old home by Rev. ELLIS, of Solsberry, and Rev. HEATON, of Bloomington, August 4. - We wish to express our sincere and heartfelt appreciation of the kindness show us and the help given by neighbors and friends during the illness and after the death of our beloved wife and mother; also for the beautiful floral offerings.
