Letsinger, 87, Succumbs In Hospital' [Transcribed on April 15, 2008 by RLJ from microfilm of the original newspaper on file in the Bloomfield-Eastern Greene County Public Library.] Leo Cushman LETSINGER, 87-year-old resident of Bloomfield route two, died at 7:35 p.m. Thursday at the Freeman Greene County Hospital. The son of Harvey and Mary (CUSHMAN) LETSINGER, he was born November 2, 1883 in Bloomfield. The deceased was a retired farmer and a member of the Mineral Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by the wife, Mary (FAUCETT) LETSINGER, in 1961, and one daughter Gretchen L. HUFFMAN, in 1968. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ellen EMMINGER, of Dallas, Texas, and Mrs. Hilda NICKLES, of Speedway, one son, James K. LETSINGER of Bloomfield route two; 10 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one cousin, Mrs. Willie HARRAH of Bloomfield.
