Frances Hayden, his wife, is buried at Owensburg Cemetery. This was from the obituary of Mary C. Hayden Mitchell (daughter of Frances and Martin): While a little child her father died in the army and her mother was left with considerable family and no means of support, they all together endured many hardships. But her mother was noble-hearted and possessed all the characteristics of true womanhood and motherly devotion. I've included a photo of Frances' headstone.
