The absence of any Rogen's on the censuses further solidifies my theory that William and Nancy met in a wagon train bound for California (where they were when their first child was born). Do you have access to the 1840 census? If Nancy were indeed born in Bloomfield, Indiana, maybe her family was on this census. Thanks again!
