RAMSEY, a well-known farmer of the Mineral community, died at the family residence on Bloomfield R. 2, at 12:55 o’clock Wednesday morning. He was 73 years old. Born in Heltonville on November 30, 1890, he was the son of George and Elvira (EDWARDS) RAMSEY. Surviving are the wife, Mrs. Eliza Ann RAMSEY; three sons, Erwin, Paul and Leo RAMSEY, all of Bloomfield route; four daughters, Mrs. Nola KING, of Bloomington; Mrs. Alice FIELDS, of Chicago, Illinois; Mrs. Luann FLOYD, of Linton, and Mrs. Helen PERSHING of Bloomfield; 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Also surviving are three brothers, Ralph RAMSEY, of Oolitic; Ernest RAMSEY, of Indianapolis, and Charley RAMSEY, of Bedford, and one sister, Mrs. Esta UNDERWOOD, of Bedford. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 o’clock Friday afternoon at the Mineral Methodist Church. The Rev. Gale WILLIAMS and Rev. Lloyd SWANGO will officiate, and burial in charge of Jenkins Funeral Home, will be mad in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
