To those researching Humphreys: As a small child I lived next door to Vivian Humphreys, sister of Adria, and their father and Vivian's Springer Spaniel ,Oscar. Later, like lots of children in Linton, I was a piano student of Vivian's (a very poor one I might add). She was a lovely person and while I am now 65 years old, I can recall her singing "Happy Birthday" to me across the yard when I was five years old. ~~Dixie Richardson, Indianapolis
