He was taken to the Eastman Hospital at Indianapolis, July 17, and underwent an operation for cancer, returning home July 29, but his condition was such that there was no relief. He leaves a wife, three children and twelve grandchildren. The children are Tillman SHARR, of Freedom; Mrs. Charles DILLON, of Farmer; and Mrs. Parker THOMPSON, of Farmer. He was sixty-two years old. He was a member of the Greene County Council at the time of his death. He was a man of strong character and a leading citizen of his neighborhood. He was a prominent Democrat and took an active part in all thinks pertaining to his neighborhood. He had been a very successful farmer and stock-raiser. He was born and raised near Cincinnati, in Center Township moved to Highland Township when married and lived there the remainder of his life, except five years he lived on the SHARR home place near Cincinnati, and moved back to his home place in Highland Township two years ago. The funeral services were held in the Cincinnati Church August 31, conducted by Rev. Jacob NEILL and burial in the Carmichael Cemetery. — CARD OF THANKS.
