SARAH BUCKNER.” [Transcribed 4 May 2002 from Bloomfield-Eastern Greene County Public Library’s IHS Microfilm Records.] Mrs. Sarah BUCKNER, wife of J. E. BUCKNER, died Wednesday afternoon at five o’clock at her home three miles north of town. Mrs. BUCKNER had been a partial invalid for several years and had been seriously ill for the past week. She was the daughter of John HARREL, who during his lifetime resided in Smith Township. His death occurred a number of years ago. The deceased is survived by her husband, two sons, Theodore BUCKNER, of Illinois, Gilbert BUCKNER, of Bloomfield, and eight grandchildren, one of whom, Donna BUCKNER, has resided with her grandparents. She also leaves three brothers, four half-brothers and two half-sisters.
