    3. Bloomington (IN) Telephone, Apr 21, 1914, p. 4. WANTED TO COME TO MONROE, NOW WANTS TO GET AWAY Edward Duncan, the Linton wife murderer in jail here awaiting trial, is now very anxious to get his case out of Monroe County. Duncan took a change of venue from Greene county to this county before the Hardin murder, and figurered that there would be no special feeling against a wife murderer in this county. He fears now it is different and he wants to get out of Monroe for his trial. Duncan killed his ex-wife in a drunken rage. After his wife was divorced, she remarried and one day Duncan went to her home and found her sitting on the lap of her second husband. He opened up with his revolver, killed the woman and injured the man. The man recovered and will testify against the murderer.
