A person who has been doing some searching for me with regard to my Edwards ancestry thinks we may be looking at the same Edwards line. Does your Stephen have a brother Joseph, who was about 2 years younger? Were they both born in OH? My Joseph was born about 1847, in OH; later is found in 1880 Census for Washington Twp., Greene Co., IN, as is your Stephen. Lived nearby each other. Father: Elias Edwards; mother, Samantha, who died, not sure where.... Are we on the same track? Let me know, and perhaps we can help each other in our research....
